MAISIE'S MISSION TO LIVE

Maisie is 25 years old and is suffering from a very serious medical condition that makes the upper cervical vertebrae unstable and compresses the brainstem and spinal cord. It can cause a whole range of symptoms from clumsiness & motor delay to breathing and paralysis.

Maisie has been suffering with this illness for 4 years now but things took a turn for the worse in 2024, she now spends all her time in bed suffering from constant headaches, blurred vision, vertigo and memory loss.

Maisie wants nothing more than to get her life back and be able to go outside and spend time with her family a be able to play with her young daughter again. If Maisie does not get surgery non of this will be possible as Maisie's quality of life just keeps getting worse.

The surgery that Maisie needs will be preformed at a private hospital in Spain by one of the top neurosurgeons in the country.

There is only one way that can help Maisie recover and get her life back and that is by getting her out to Barcelona so that she can have this life-saving surgery. This surgery is not preformed in the UK. This is why we have set up a GoFundMe to raise the amount needed for the surgery.

At least £57,000 is needed, this funds the surgery and rehabilitation.

This Surgery offers a great chance for Maisie to get a good quality of life.

You can help us by donating to us or by sponsoring as a company, any company that sponsors us will be mentioned on our website. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor please contact us via: maisiesccijourney@gmail.com

Every little bit helps and will be greatly appreciated.

*There is also a chance that there will be additional costs as Maisie may need more tests done or even a more extensive surgery depending on how long it takes to raise the money we currently need as every day Maisie deteriorates*
